Metito commissioned the first Public-Private Partnership bulk water treatment plant in Sub Saharan Africa, Rwanda.

Metito executed the “Galala” Project, the largest seawater reverse osmosis desalination plant in Egypt.

Metito divested 100% of its China operations as part of a successful capital recycling event, after growing the business in China from 2 to 11 projects over 9 years.

Mitsubishi and JBIC acquired a stake in Metito.

2011

Metito acquired the remaining 49% stake in BCH.

2008

Metito and Berlinwasser formed BCH to invest in water and wastewater projects in China, with 51% shareholding by Metito.

2007

Revised its corporate structure to reflect diversification strategy and created MUL (incorporated in Guernsey). IFC acquired a minority stake in the Group through capital increase.

2006

Gulf Capital invests in Metito via a majority stake acquisition.
