Highly sophisticated software is used to evaluate process options, starting with the conceptual design stage and continuing through to final utilization stage and beyond.

PROCESS DESIGN

Metito appreciates the importance of process design and its involvement in all stages of the project development. This understanding fortified the Group’s solid experience in this area. Our engineers are industry experts in design, operation, control and optimization of processes in industrial and municipal applications. This experience is complemented with the integration of top of the line systematic computer-based software.

Our expert team is specialized in developing frameworks, setting specifications, designing innovative processes and equipment, implementing, monitoring, modifying and optimizing equipment and processes and commissioning of full scale facilities. This team works closely with clients to ensure all processes are streamlined with knowledge transfer a priority.

MECHANICAL ENGINEERING

Metito designs tools and other mechanically functioning equipment that ensures effective and optimum operations across its projects. The team of qualified engineers and technicians oversee installation, operation, maintenance and repair of such equipment in a safe manner and in accordance with established work safety standards.

ELECTRICAL AND AUTOMATION

Metito has a vastly experienced team of engineers who design electrical, instrumentation and automation systems from the simplest to the most complex plants. The team ensures that all designs comply with relevant international standards, project specifications, QHSE requirements and local regulations of the country where the plant is being installed.

PLC-SCADA

Monitoring and control capability is an important aspect of many multi-function and multi-component water and wastewater treatment systems. Progress and improved reliability of analytical and other process-control instruments have encouraged engineers to maximize their dependence on automation, which renders PLC/SCADA based control systems its popularity. The design of a suitable PLC control and SCADA system for interface to water, wastewater and desalination systems requires expert understanding of the process and the available control hardware.

The Interactive Graphics Operator Station (IGOS) software can clearly display all parts of the process on the monitor in color. An operator using the keyboard can manage the data and the mapped processes to the maximum level allowed by the pre-programmed software.

Telemetry, is essential for communicating instrument outputs with main and sub-control stations. This is used in larger Metito plants that have integral but remote components. Fiberoptic or split-wire communication cables are also used depending on the location and distance of the different components.
